Master Jody Curley offers more than three decades of experience as a diplomate certified Tai Chi Chuan instructor and has taught T’ai Chi Chuan, Chi Kung and meditation at a variety of times and locations in the Madison area since 2006.  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Jody’s public group class schedule posted below consists entirely of live Zoom classes.  There are occasional updates in class listings and schedules.

Potential participants are always welcome to try out any class free of charge.  To help you select a class that may be the best fit  for you, there are one, two or three panda symbols accompanying each class name.

🐼 A 30 minute Tai Chi-Chi Kung class which features shorter sequences of repeating movements integrated with breathing.  The class may be practiced standing or seated.  This is the most readily accessible class for beginning students but can also become a very satisfying ongoing practice.

🐼🐼 A 60 minute Tai Chi-Chi Kung class which offers both shorter sequences of repeating movements integrated with breathing and greater complexity in the movement sequences practiced.  The class is typically practiced standing, although participants may sit as needed at any time.

🐼🐼🐼 A 60 minute Tai Chi Chuan class focusing on a Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan form which may be practiced for physical and emotional balance as well as for the potential applications of movements to daily activities or personal safety. This is the most challenging level of class due to the complexity of movements.
